BY COMPLETING OUR ONLINE REGISTRATION YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS:
PAYMENT/REFUND POLICY
1) Full payment must be received no less than 24 hours prior to the first class.
2) Full refund will be issued for cancellation up to two weeks prior to first class.
3) A full refund, minus a $30 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations less than 2 weeks but more than 24 hours prior to second class.
4) In the event that you decide to withdraw your child from the program, you must notify the Super Stars Tennis administrative office at 646-284-9514 or superstarstennis@gmail.com no less than 24 hours before the second class. A prorated refund (minus a $30 administrative fee) will be given for the session’s remaining classes before the second class of any period.
5) No refunds or credits after the second week of each spring/summer/fall/winter session.
6) You must register for the entire season of classes. We do not have the ability to allow individual parents to pick and choose which classes they will attend.
7) Trial / drop-in classes are non-refundable.
CANCELLATION & MAKE-UP POLICIES
Class Make-up Policy
Attendance to your scheduled classes, finding your coach and class location, and tracking your class dates, is the sole responsibility of the participant. If your child does not attend class for any reason, you will be able to attend a maximum of 1 make-up class at the end of each season. In order to be added to the roster for this make-up class you must contact us at least 24-hours prior to an absence. The make-up class at the end of the season is set prior to the specific outdoor season, and is intended for make-up purposes or a class cancellation due to weather related issues. If you have an absence and a rainout, you will automatically get the make up class for the rainout and 1 class credit for a future drop-in class for the absence. If you miss the makeup class at the end of the season, no refunds or credits shall be given. If we have no rainouts and no absences, there will be no make-up class scheduled.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide any make-up classes for indoor class sessions. Up to one credit per winter season can be issued for an absence if advance notice is given. This credit can be used to drop into one of our many outdoor classes when the outdoor season comes.
Every effort is made to keep PODs private, however Super Stars Tennis reserves the right to occasionally place a child in another POD or group class to accommodate a make-up or trial class request. We also reserve the right to occasionally have up to 6 kids with one coach in order to accommodate a make up for a child.
Class Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. We will notify you as soon as possible in the event that there are less than 3 children enrolled, and make every effort to find another class suitable for your child to join. In the event of low enrollment in which Super Stars Tennis cannot place your child in another suitable class, you will receive a full refund.
Class Credit Policy
Should you receive a class credit during your term, to be used at a Super Stars Tennis location, they are valid for up to one year from the date of issue. Class credits can be used to drop into another class, or towards a future registration. A free class credit, for a free class drop-in, MUST be used during the same period session you are enrolling your child or will expire.
It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to contact the Super Stars Tennis administrative office at 646-284-0514 or superstarstennis@gmail.com to arrange a free class or request the class credit coupon code for their child.
Weather Cancellation Policy
Super Stars Tennis has the right to cancel all classes due to inclement weather or forecasted inclement weather. In the event of inclement weather, such as snow, rain or freezing conditions (below 40 degrees F), someone from the Super Stars Tennis staff will notify you by calling or emailing 1-2 hours before the start of class to give notice of the class cancellation. We do not have a temperature cutoff for summertime. When it’s hot out the coaches always look for shade and take lots of water breaks. We also allow coaches to make decisions on the spot, if they feel it's uncomfortably hot or anyone's safety is at risk they can call the office and we can make the call to cancel class. We would not continue class if it's not safe. Just make sure to bring hats, sunscreen and water to class!
If you do not receive a call, text, or email from us stating class is cancelled, classes are ON
If a class is canceled due to inclement weather, no refunds shall be given, however, you will be eligible to attend 1 make-up class at the end of season. (This pertains to outdoor classes only). The make-up class at the end of the season is set prior to the specific outdoor season, as an added extra class for any class cancellation due to weather related issues. If you miss the end of season make-up class, unfortunately no refunds or credits shall be given. If the end of season make-up class gets canceled, you will be entitled to 1 class credit upon request. If a class is canceled due to weather conditions 2 or more times in a season, you will be awarded 1 class credit towards a future outdoor season class (*Note: this does not pertain to indoor classes - only outdoor classes). If a player cannot use his or her 1 credit towards a future outdoor class, no refunds shall be offered.
Unfortunately, we cannot reschedule dates or times for any group classes or make-up classes.
Scheduling a make-up or drop-in for absences
If you have class credits for a future drop-in class for an absence, please email us to inquire about drop-in options. We can give you a selection of classes with availability at that time. Please note that availability can change if we receive registrations for the full season. Make up classes can be scheduled no more than 5 days prior to the desired date in order to assure a spot. We are not able to hold future dates for a make-up beyond 5 days, as full season registrations take priority over make-up classes and spots may fill before your desired make-up class date.
INDEMNITY CLAUSE
In consideration of Super Stars Tennis, Inc., permitting the participation of said child, which you believe would be educational, physical, and other benefits, you hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Super Stars Tennis, Inc., its officials, coaches, and representatives from any and all claims, actions, and liabilities arising out of or in connection with the child’s participation in any aspect of Super Stars Tennis, Inc., and transportation via bus to and from designated sports facility.
MEDICAL POLICY
By completing this registration, you certify that you are the parent or guardian of said child, and that your child has no known medical or other conditions that could interfere with his/her participation in Super Stars Tennis activities. You understand and agree that in case of an allergic reaction, you or your designated caregiver would be the first person responsible for treating your child. Super Stars Tennis coaches are authorized to administer medication or EpiPens only if a medical waiver has been completed by the parent/guardian of said child. Waivers may be obtained from our administration office upon request by emailing superstarstennis@gmail.com or calling 646-284-0514. You also understand and agree that Super Stars Tennis coaches and staff are not permitted to change diapers or assist your child with other bathroom duties and that those requirements must be met by yourself or your designated caregiver.
PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY POLICY
Super Stars Tennis has the right to take videos, photographs, and recordings of participating students while engaged in Super Stars Tennis classes. You consent to Super Stars Tennis' use of videos, photographs, or recordings of your child, for any advertising and/or promotional uses, as well as waive all rights to compensation which may occur as a result.
By clicking the submit button you acknowledge and represent that you are over the age of 18, have read this entire document, that you understand its terms and provisions, and that you have accepted it knowingly and voluntarily on behalf of yourself and/or your minor children (if applicable).
